If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo — the standard information Google shares for sign-in. We also store your giving history within Spare Change: which causes you've backed, their focus area (crisis support, trauma, addiction, youth, or access to care), and when — so your streak, badges, and impact history actually work.
We take this seriously here specifically because of the subject matter: a history of backing addiction-recovery or crisis-support causes says something more personal than a typical donation log. That history is never sold, shared, or used for anything beyond showing it back to you in your own Your Impact page.
Spare Change never sees your payment details. Donations happen entirely on Every.org's own platform, subject to their own privacy practices — we only know that you chose to back a cause, never your card number, bank details, or the amount you gave.
Solely to run the features you see in the app: your daily goal, your streak, your badge collection, and your Your Impact history. We don't sell your data, run ads, or share it with anyone beyond the services that make the app work — Google (for sign-in), Every.org (for nonprofit data and donations), and our database host, Neon.
There's no self-serve delete button yet. If you'd like your account and history removed, reach out and we'll take care of it.
